So, Canon announced recently of the t3i apart of their Rebel series. This will be a slightly updated version of the t2i with an internal flash function as well as a sliding/tilt LCD screen. The price at the moment is marked exactly as the t2i considering it is literally the exact same product minus the additional LCD screen feature and the internal flash function. Anybody have thoughts on this? I am interested to see the public opinion

If you are a user of a Canon T2i or 7D you have to check out magic latern, it's a 3rd party firmware that is 99.99% safe, the .01 is just so you can't quote me if it bricks later on down :) The firmware essentially turns your average camera into a beast... so I highly suggest getting it loaded onto your SD card and give it a whirl! It has been downloaded and used by more than 5,000 people and 0% fail rate (knock on wood)! enjoy~

I've been doing a lot of research and from what I've read/watched, the T2i with the Magic Latern firmware is worth about $2,000 for any film maker because of the added bonuses and the ability to turn AGC off which gives a huge difference in audio. If you are a current owner of a T2i Camera from Canon, you need to get the firmware update! The update is virtually safe, so far zero cameras have bricked in the process of getting it.
